List

  • Ordered epson ink de-clogger
  • Researched and bought thing for food composting
  • Bought lights and cords and switches and boxes and connectors and hardware to turn the weird narrow space into a closet with light
  • Bought a new litter box which is deep and lidded, since they were going over the edge* of the short unlidded, and the deep one mittel purchased seems to be proper
  • Cleaned *that up
  • Moved basement shelving wood into place
  • Cleared space for wardrobe in basement [so it can be out-of-sight-mostly, as it is judged unattractive,] [but can still be used for extra blankets or something for guests, as it is judged useful,] [and so the pieces of it can be out of the way upstairs so the little closets can open]
  • Researched and bought food processor so i can process food; need pressure cooker so legumes will stop being crunchy
  • Researched and bought block of knives, for the cuttings
  • There was a drive-thru krispy kreme; how could i not; variety pack; what do i do with 24 donuts?
  • Did actual real work that i get paid for; not enough, make up some later
  • Emptied some boxes
  • Got Vonage phone set up; found the most mittel-preferred of 6 or 7 available phones and hooked it up; wondered what to do with 5 or 6 extra phones, and if maybe they should all be put in an array next to each other so the phone user could pick which to use
  • Got speakers set up for computer; build errors can now beep annoyingly at me
  • Set up more shelves, put books on them, some with vague inter-associations
  • Failed to submit papers to people
  • Got my first cash from my new bank, and got bad food with it which hurt me
  • Set up printer and shelves for paper
  • Put a wall's worth of paperbacks on the shelf-thing in the guest room
  • Called dad unit to go visit this weekend, making it the first go-visit-family moment since returning from the wrong coast
  • Bought recycle and trash cans; recycled recyclables; trashed trash
  • Labeled and bagged many many cords and connectors and things, most of which will probably get freecycled
  • Remembered to shower; forgot to shave
  • Bought grass seed to seed the great round circles of dirt where weeds were
  • Got sad
  • Put more pins in map
  • Bought laser level to determine number of megainches of slant in each room of house; thwarted by no batteries found
  • Watered plants
  • Envied people who talk about personal things and persons in their LJs, and people who find words to say things
  • Installed latest OpenOffice
  • Got a gmail account; may use it for the random email addresses instead of 2004-june@jodawi.com type things
  • Sharpened pocketknife
  • Pondered the lives of insects, and of people, and of gods
  • Made lists of things to do
  • Visited unfinished-furniture store
  • Gazed at many woodworking tools at hardware store
  • Worried about Quark, who has a lump
  • Worried about Nebu, who goes nuts at 10pm, desperate to get out
  • Put shelf over cubic feet of computer cabling under desk
  • Bleached scale top; didn't help much
  • Wrote email to Epson asking if they knew of any handy class-action lawsuits against them and their clogging printers
  • Cleaned two toilets; half-heartedly tried to fix one that has been made to use less water which means it requires three flushes and thus uses more water
  • Hear a cat fight and a dog bark; not ours
  • Closed old web hosting account; waved wearily at pending accounts to set up
  • Pondered lack of plants in house
  • The other things that i forgot

I want a pet that looks like this:

Maybe i do some sleep. Maybe I will go to sleep now.
