Ten things I've done that you probably haven't?

1. Lived in a converted goat barn.
2. Won both of the physics department scholarships.
3. Convinced my college to let me do whatever I wanted for a semester for full credit, with no tests or other requirements besides meeting with professors periodically to tell them what I was doing.
4. Built a bed and a kitchen cabinet in a backyard with minimal power tools and no work bench.
5. Made a fence that can keep cats in and confuse raccoons for a goodly while.
6. Passed Ph.D. qualifiers and wrote half my master's thesis before deciding enough was enough and switching to a different degree that was actually enjoyable.
7. In one year saved two people from losing homes and one dog from losing its life.

9. Performed the wedding ceremony for my mother and her husband.
