I have to agree with this report in some parts...

In my case, when my doctor INcreased my Zoloft from 50mg per day to 75mg, I developed DYSphoric mania. I had a lot of energy, could have worked as a stand-up comedian, and had the bravado of a daredevil. It's a good thing no one mentioned, "Why don't you rob a bank?", or I might be in jail ;)

At the same time though, I was somewhat melancholy and weepy.

It's a dangerously weird place to be.

The situation was resolved by decreasing my dosage back to 50mg per day, and adding a mood-stabilizer that actually works - Depakote ER.

I am feeling better and better as the days go by, and my therapist believes that I will be able to return to work, on a part-time basis, sometime in May of this year.
