*beams* i'm reducing unwanted hum and hiss!
Hurray for modern computers; my college professor once used a series of analog filters over and over to try to clean electric hum out of a recording. Now i just woggle up my noise profile and adjust my FFT riblets and it turns my tape into a CD.
