Zuchinni Block

that

Am programmer's block.

Simple things to do, just clean up. Know what to do. Hard to make self do.

Undergrad: researched a paper. Brain 100% refused to write it. Prof gave me kind grade based on unorganized notes after told i could not write it.

My Mac has been "preparing to write random data to disk" for an hour or two. How hard is it to create a random stream and write it?

Grad school: brain refuses to study. Electrical engineering dulls brain dead. O, Ph.D. qualifiers in two weeks. Guess better learn the things i didn't really learn the last two years, study study study study study o hey that's kind of interesting. Barely pass qualifiers.

Grad school: brain refuses to write thesis. Research done. Organized. Graphs. Writing cannot be done. Finish writing, get free second Master's degree, but no, so just Computer Science degree. (Free = vast student loans already paid, moo whatever.)

Samuel R. Delany sez most writers go through long-term writer's block period. Block can be indicator of you-really-are-that: writer's block = proof of being writer. Blah.

Am programmer's block.

However, no kind prof to give programming scraps to, so not allowed.
