maybe global warming becomes modest issue on political radar once say entire regions blackout from overuse of air conditioning and thousands die here and there around the world? for example, both are detrimental to profit margins, unless you're a grocery store with backup power or a morgue. i suggest measured response of adjusting numbers somewhere by a fraction of a percent, so that a fraction of a percent of the problem will go away.
