By this time next year, i want to have the following life:

- Work at home in immaculate home office
- Get up 5am
- Sit at immaculate desk at 6am wearing suit and tie
- Slip into something a little more comfortable at 3pm
- Party into the late hours of the afternoon, then sleep.

Soon i must swoop across the tundra in my fell grey cloak, in quest of happypill refill and egg drop soup.

Head / spine / etc hurt randomly of late; hyperhypochondria sympathetic maladies prehaps. Could have something to do with sleeping too little at work on an ergonomically inappropriate couch.

here are issues with a cloak:

1. the hood is the huge, and wants to eat my entire head, which makes it difficult to see the barrier 1 foot ahead, of see what direction i'm going, or see if there's any cars coming when i cross the street
2. if rolled back, the hood catches the arctic breeze, and flies off my head, and my head freezes in the arctic breeze at the time it most would like to be hooded
3. the front must be clutched to keep it closed
4. there is so much fabric, i have a huge wad of blanket in my lap when i try to drive or sit in a chair with arms, and there's always some trying to get stuck in the car door no matter how much i grab before getting in
5. if i had to flee from a ninja snow monster, i might be in trouble, since the fabric likes to fly between the legs and cause slight confusions of mobility
6. in order to do anything which requires arms, you have to open the whole thing
7. misc improvements which could be done, such as a zipper or buttons in the front, sleeves so you can drive, less voluminous cut to decrease weight of fabric, pocket to hold hood, pockets to hold things, etc, would make it essentially become a coat, but you could call it a "deluxe cloak"

on the other hidden hand,

1. it's harder to have a fell grey jacket
2. coats are less swoopy
3. you can twirl it, and think o this is what a girl unit with a skirtdress does how fun
4. "clasp" and "cloak" sound much cooler than "zipper" and "coat"
5. people look at me with curiousity or other
6. a cold mittel can have a cloak wrapped about her
7. a kittencat can be easily encircled and plunged into darkness, causing purr and/or nervous meow
8. Joda the jedi would never be seen dressed in a mere coat
