Know what would be cool? An lj stats thingy that ranked journals and communities by the number of hits they got from various government agencies.

And with a little help from AAA for the last part of the trip, I got it all the way to the nearby mechanic! Yeeehaww!

Laurie's not entirely amused for some reason, but I figger entertainment like this don't come cheap.

When did I get AAA? A couple weeks ago. This is called Just-In-Time Towing.

To make it even better, I was mistaken about the emergency brake being off, so it probably mostly melted and dripped off onto the road. Then there's the overfull gas tanks that leak. And the tailpipe that mostly isn't, causing Laurie to liken the sound of it to some sort of monster eating a rototiller or some such.

In short, perfect for indigopowder to take her driving test in.
