Dear John,

This is in reply to your e-mail which we received from Locate-A-Doc.com. Based on your prescription, there are two concerns: 1, Your cornea would have to be very thick to allow for such a large correction; and, 2, the correction may be large enough that the result would be less predictable. Of course, only a physician can say for sure, and we do take specific measurements that take those factors into account. If your cornea is too thin, wavefront would not be advised. However, an implantable contact lens may be the answer if LASIK proves to be contra-indicated.
