The PAUR went out. Also, it biotricktinated us, for I knew there were circuit breakers in the basement (one 30 amp, one 20 amp), but there were also fuses in the hidden box (four 20 amp fuses, with most of the house going through one of them, and apparently all of them coming from the 30 amp breaker... hmm...) and one of those blew. Bafflement as circuit breakers didn't break, so what was the problem. Was afraid walls might be melting on fire with wrongness, but apparently not. Personage arrived, announced fuses existed, replaced, all better. Costly upgrade likely likely.

Figured would need to get electrical work done... my spreadsheet estimates that we could have peak usage of up to 112 amps if everything in the house was on (frex, poltergeists invade, play with all shiny objects). A simple calculation shows that 112 amps is greater than 20 or 30 amps.

Cold leftover mac&cheese: non-optimal.
