[music] i've always been annoyed by

the lyrics: "and the battle's just begun / to claim the victory Jesus won"

I was about to say the exact same thing! and only be half-sarcastic...ack, I'm such a heathen, oh well. ^_^

I wasn't be sarcastic in the least.. in other u2 news...

I already have the DVD player, but despite my hints, nobody bought me the Elevation DVD...>_< Ah well, I'll buy it for myself. Ah, sweet memories of seeing them in April, sigh...

I didn't even know that the concert dvd existed so I was pumped.
I saw them in Portland on Easter Sunday the day that Joey Ramone died, so I think I'm pretty special.. that was the bestest concert ever.. the next time they tour I'm gonna make like a dead head and follow them around the country.. yeeha.

Cool. I saw them 2 days before you did, in Vancouver. Yay! It was, absolutely, the #1 concert I've ever been to. I didn't have tickets until the day before, when I happened to e-mail Ticketmaster asking if they were going to release sight-line tickets, and they e-mailed me back and offered me tickets!! Of course, since they were $130, I was the only person I knew willing to pay for them, so I went alone, but that was pretty aweseome in itself. Okay, now I feel bad for having conversations on Jodawi's journal ^_^ Sorry! hee.
Merry Christmas

Somebody's got to have conversations here! Is it safe to listen to U2 again? I kind of tuned out around Achtung Burble. (Sounded nice, mind you, but....)

Hey, lookie (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B00005LZP8/)

It is, indeed, safe to listen to U2 again. 'Pop' is over and done with. 'Discotheque' is gone (although...it's probably terrible...I always kind of liked that song. Thankfully I've only really gotten into U2 over the past short while, missed the whole Pop thing entirely)

gah! I want that CD! I've never heard of that before! yes, going to Virgin, going to go see if they have that, too....

Hmm. I listened to some of the samples for All That You Can't Leave Behind and was dubious. I've added it to my wishlist rather than my shopping list and will let it nag at me for a while.
