I will cease and desist my postings presently, but I was curious how Aljazeera would report on this:

Baghdad Bomb Kills Up to 27, Most Children (NYT)

The attack, in a poor, predominantly Shiite neighborhood of eastern Baghdad, left a wrenching scene of bloodshed, anger and despair. Children's colored slippers, pieces of flesh and shrapnel were strewn around the wide crater left in the street by the bomb. Women wailed and slapped themselves on the chest and face in a ritual of grief as bodies were placed in crude coffins and carried away.

The top Aljazeera story is "Sunnis allege abuse by Iraqi forces". The car bomb is reported as:
Children killed in Baghdad car blast

US troops said one US soldier and many Iraqi civilians were killed by the blast, including many Iraqi children. Three US soldiers were among the wounded.

"The vehicle, laden with explosives, drove up to a Humvee before detonating. Many Iraqi civilians, mostly children, were around the Humvee at the time of the blast," US military spokesman Sergeant David Abrams said.

Iraqi journalist Walid Khalid said a bomber wanted to detonate an explosive-laden car targeting US forces. However, the bomb detonated before it reached the US forces, he said. ...

Hassan Muhammad, whose 13-year-old son Alaa also died, said: "Why do they attack our children? They just destroyed one US Humvee, but they killed dozens of our children.

"What sort of a resistance is this? It's a crime."

A bit of oh-it-was-just-an-unfortunate-accident-that-it-blew-up-then spin, but not entirely spin.
