I detest pimps almost as much as child molesters. If I hear someone in the media talking to pimps casually, or referring to prostitutes as their ho's or bitches or suchlike, then I feel an urge to violently adjust their physical state.

This announcement brought to you by last night's lurid annoying voiceover (oh excuse me, HBO says it's "poetic, street-smart narration by Brent Owens") in Downtown Girls: The Hookers of Honolulu, and the crazy guy on late night Seattle public access who likes to show porn, and entirely too many radio talk shows and things.

God, that porn guy. I had forgotten all about him in the last two cable-free years.

Now that we have cable again (just got it on Saturday), I'm going to have to be very careful when flipping channels.

I hate that "pimp" (and all its connotations) has become so damned fashionable. It makes me sick to my stomach.
