Area beaq should log into virginmobileusa account and turn down or off the automatic re-minute, so as to not have $40000 when stop using phone. Could also check monthly usage to non-Verizon to estijudgimate #minute plan needed.

What is evil. Evil is charging $0.10 / text message, using a few bytes of bandwidth, while calls using megabytes are $0.00. It's enough to make a feller grumble.

Thank you muchly. How much to just be able to call or be called by school and/or babysitters? Unlimited in-calling goodgood, but what about outside local calls? Just curious.

free 700 minutes / month, shared by all three phones. after that, $0.45/minute, but can upgrade to a more-than-700 to avoid the courtesy fuckyoudearcustomer fee.

I don't expect to use it a whole lot, but I'll be notifying all of those people who watch Ana at some point (school/before&after care/babysitters) about the phone so if something goes awry: ta-da! They can reach me! :)

I bet you'll find yourself using it more than you suspect. Handy little devils, and cancer risk totally unproven!

Don't artificially limit yourself to rapid-speaking 30 second calls, just try to avoid hour-long conversations and such.
