It was kind of sloppy, as I recall. There's also http://www.worldsbestcatlitter.com/ . I use Feline Pine, myself (http://www.felinepine.com/), but not their new scoopable (though I may try it). It really takes care of the urine smell. If you can smell it, it's time to change it, or maybe even past time. It is kinda messy. Probably less so with a covered box, or even a neat kitty (which Giles is sooo not, but Jane is).

I didn't care for SWheat Scoop -- too dusty. The kitties didn't like Feline Pine. Now I use World's Best Cat Litter and we're all happy. It's flushable and smells a little like cornflakes. Smells like pissed-in cornflakes when it needs a changin' (who pissed in your cornflakes? my cat did!).

Feine pine which I hate. Or silica gel which I love and buy cheeply at the waremart type place. No smell. Like none. and I collect the silica gel against the side of the compost bin and am just SURE I will find the perfect use for it later.

We went with Yesterday's News, which is made of recycled newspaper. Doesn't track, no dust,
low odor. Expensive but we like it.
