One of my co-workers has a blue bandwidth light/clock next to her computer that she uses every morning for half an hour. I've taken to visiting with her at that time each day. ^__^

I'm surprised that narrow bandwidth would have much of an effect: I wonder if something that was just short-wavelength would work. Like, say, a cheap UV light. (wear glasses.)
