Safe, effective, and low in carbs - call now!

over the next week, i finish up the 3ish year project i've been working on and expose the rest of the engineering team to it, and also pack for moving, and schedule cleaners and utility disconnections and utility connections and build a something to aid in the truck-cab transport of the kitties what can't be flown safely with sleepydrugs and give housemate utility connecting info and get landlord to fix oven and mow grasses and fix rubber cement disaster in carpet and cat-clawing disaster in carpet and dismantle kitty doors and dismantle shelves and note that nails grow faster in the summer. also there must be more baby goat appreciations. i am to be made of the sleepy, however i have eaten the chocolate bunny, and also have a mighty copper chain.

things to do on the right coast that never got done:
visit fallingwater
visit many particular museums
visit select portion of florida or carob-bean
similar suchness

CSS is a pathetic joke.* Just you try to have 0.65em default size for all text; it will helpfully multiply it at each level of your list if you set the size in <li> so the text becomes microscopic for sub-lists, and ignores you completely if you try to set it in the obvious place of <body>. (*as implemented in the most common browser on the planet, which makes it de-facto standard.)

For much less than the billions of dollars spent every year tweaking CSS, HTML, XHTML, etc, a small group of reasonably capable people could make a far more sensible, easy-to-use, powerful, accessible, etceterable system plus reference code for parsing and laying out things so each browser vendor wouldn't have to fuck things up in unique ways. <insert 500 more pages of rant here> I nominate all web standards and technologies for worst standards and technologies ever created. I am the sole voter, so my nomination wins.

I want chocolate and/or lunch

I'm moving a week earlier than i thought. holy fecal matter batman. maybe i better get some work done.
