Take kindly the counsel of the years, gracefully surrendering the things of youth.
Nurture strength of spirit to shield you in sudden misfortune. But do not distress yourself with imaginings.
Many fears are born of fatigue and loneliness. Beyond a wholesome discipline, be gentle with yourself.
You are a child of the universe, no less than the trees and the stars;
you have a right to be here.
And whether or not it is clear to you, no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should.
Therefore be at peace with God, whatever you conceive Him to be,
and whatever your labors and aspirations, in the noisy confusion of life keep peace with your soul.
With all its sham, drudgery and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Be careful. Strive to be happy.

I needs to make a game called Artificial Scarcity System, explicitly incorporating all the worst practices of various mobile games. Pay money to buy gems to allow you to pay money to buy stars to allow you to pay money to buy hearts! Oh no, babies will drown in puppy drool if you don't save them with hearts! You can mindlessly pop little timewasting bubbles, or buy a 100 Heart Pack for special artificial half-price for a limited time!

So I have this "sunUp" dawn simulator that powers a max of 400 watts. I just realized I can use forty 60-Watt-equivalent bulbs with it. All aimed directly at my BRAIN.

allegedly it is easier to learn new languages one at a time. but i wonder, if one wants to learn 10 languages, would it be easier to learn them all in parallel? maybe the brain would then treat each language as a mode in a more complicated metalanguage, with part of the grammer being which language was currently in use.
