In other news, Trillian is suck because it sometimes makes you've-got-a-new-message noises but doesn't show which of the 5000 contacts sent it, so I can't see unless double-clicking each one of them. Of course, there's only about 3 people that ever message me, so it's perhaps not a big problem.

Job Perks

My ancient 2.79 GHz dual processor with 1 GB of RAM is being replaced by a more modern four-processor 3.79 GHz machine with 2.5 GB of RAM. Drive is only 150 GB though, which is annoying, since I have about a half terabyte of data.

Of course, what I'd really like is a terabyte of RAM, using the disk just for backups. Maybe by 2015.
