I find myself wondering how much if any info is missing - given the severity of US-sponsored torture in the past, most of these deaths and rapes and other cases are relatively mild. Are we given just enough to be outraged and to make us think everything has been exposed?

I needs to make a game called Artificial Scarcity System, explicitly incorporating all the worst practices of various mobile games. Pay money to buy gems to allow you to pay money to buy stars to allow you to pay money to buy hearts! Oh no, babies will drown in puppy drool if you don't save them with hearts! You can mindlessly pop little timewasting bubbles, or buy a 100 Heart Pack for special artificial half-price for a limited time!

Oh no, the babies were saved from the drool, but now are slowly wasting away from a puppy drool disease! Quick, generate medicine by slowly popping little timewasting bubbles, or spend hearts to instantly generate test tubes which can be used by scientists that you can buy for gems to do research for 2 days or 20 stars.

allegedly it is easier to learn new languages one at a time. but i wonder, if one wants to learn 10 languages, would it be easier to learn them all in parallel? maybe the brain would then treat each language as a mode in a more complicated metalanguage, with part of the grammer being which language was currently in use.

finished crossfit "on-ramp" classes, attended 1 standard class. generally the slowest person, from 17yo males to 50? 60? yo females. can't always complete things, but have started pacing myself better. i'm more inclined to sprinting and don't have much endurance, so i have to start out doing less than i'm capable of in order to last the hour. balance and rhythm and memory kinda sucky. limited range of motion in right shoulder (thanks stupid docs and pts) makes some things awkward. sweat like a pig would sweat if a pig could sweat like a me.

everyone very supportive and friendly, except for younger women. i've apparently not been around young sexually-harassed women much in recent years because it's kind of peculiar feeling to have an invisible guardian wall between me and others. or maybe it's just that they're strangers. really kids, i'm not interested, so you can chill.

my favorite part is when i'm exhausted and have transformed into a sweat elemental, and then the instructor says "ok, next for our workout today, we're going to..."

only exceedingly sore twice so far, the day after attending. first day made it 2/3 of the way through before too dizzy and nauseated/dehydrated to continue. could barely move a day later.

currently 3x per week, probably increase to 4 in a little while and start adding basic martial arts and yoga.

blah blah etc. reasonably good performance for the first regular exercise since birth 45 years ago, with possible chronic-fatigue-like syndrome.
