Apr. 9th, 2005 01:28 amI'm afeared the new shuttle flight will perish. Doesn't help when i read this garble:
` I`m confident in that fact that we`ve come a long way, and in that respect we&hk;re ready to fly this mission,`
Shub Shuttlenaut
Watched Alien vs Predator. Giggled uncontrollably at the science and history.
Legal Action Taken Against King County For Harvesting Brains - how can you resist a headline like that?

Apr. 2nd, 2005 03:42 pmWhat's with Amazon randomly not letting you sort by rating?
Motorola wireless router dying. Don't remember previous crappy wireless router... oh yeah, Dell. Perhaps Linksys next... seems like wireless routers work fine for 90% of people and randomly explode for 10%, and due to my technocurse i'm always in the 10%.

Mar. 31st, 2005 02:01 pmAOL can't help me with my father's account even though I have all the password and login and pet name info AND am the person whose credit card is being charged, and I'm trying to change the card.
I can't seem to find my initial doctor that gave me Zoloft, so those medical records seem to have gone down a black hole. Shouldn't there be a national registry accessed by social security number that doctors can get access to?
We've changed insurance a few times due to repeated double-digit %increases in premiums, so can't check with insurance.
Maybe I should try a CIA FOIA request and get a file on myself and see if they have the records.

Jan. 2nd, 2005 12:46 pmSunday. Lost day somewhere. If find, please return, $20 reward as soon as find wallet.
Mittel is 180° out of phase with time. Soon shall have to take drastic wonderings how to fix. Woke with sunlight, which is not snow.
When the little dots cross to the top, it may be time to sell.
Some colors should not come out of a nose.
When I have no games left to drug my mind, I have to consider what to do with life. I race you all to happiness! Last one in's a happy egg.
Once when travelling I printed out my vast list of passwords and user names, and hoped nobody else would come into possession of them. Most of my passwords these days are derived algorithmically, so I can have a different password at most sites and only have to remember the base password and the algorithm to generate the real one for any given site. Too many places don't allow non-alphanumeric characters though, so I have to have two base passwords to satisfy those places that insist on being less secure.
Maybe I'll go split wood. In my free time, I'll like to make more user icons.

Oct. 17th, 2004 11:31 amHow can NASA spend hundreds of millions of dollars on projects then have them fail for absurd reasons like confusing metric and non-metric or because someone installed some critical switches upside down?
Critical switches, for that matter, should never be designed in such a way that they can be installed upside down. When you design, you remove wrong choices and leave available only the right choice.
In other news, I predict vote fraud stealing this election from Bush.
